Job summary

Auer Steel & Heating Supply Company, located in Neenah, WI, is seeking a Material Handler for the first shift (8:00am - 4:30pm). The role includes selecting, staging, and delivering materials, assisting drivers, and restocking shelves.

Prior forklift operation and a valid Class D license are preferred. Responsibilities also cover receiving and checking in stock, processing shipping paperwork, and providing support to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or 1–3 months related experience.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Previous driving experience preferred / Class D license.

Responsibilities

• Select and count materials per shipping slip.
• Stage and tag orders; deliver to will call or shipping areas.
• Assist customers and drivers in loading materials into vehicles.
• Unload and stock incoming materials; check-in of raw materials and finished goods.
• Process paperwork for shipments (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.).
• Check goods against packing slips and PO numbers for correct identification.
