Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Indiana seeks a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to maintain material flow on receiving docks. Primary duties include processing shipments, unloading trailers, and moving materials with powered equipment.

The role requires accuracy, basic computer skills, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Relocation is not offered; first shift training will occur for up to two months before transitioning to the assigned shift. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive operations.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Plex system to determine product and procedure accuracy.
• Unload trailers and trucks.
• Move material throughout plant using powered lifting equipment.
• Ensure accuracy of material received against shipment documentation.
• Utilize computer system to document material received.
