Job summary

Magellan Aerospace, Glendale, is seeking a Receiving / Materials Expeditor I to receive and expedite materials between production areas per schedules and priorities.

Responsibilities include inspections, verifying documentation, tracking with the computer system, forklift operation, and warehouse upkeep. Requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs+, and forklift experience; excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Electronic receiving experience and basic Excel knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection of various parts and components.
• Receive incoming goods, confirm accuracy, and route to shop floor.
• Ensure received and shipped materials match documentation.
• Complete quality control documents for outgoing items.
• Process expedited deliveries promptly.
• Use computer system to track goods and inventory.
• Report defective materials or issues to supervisor.
• Maintain warehouse and material organization.
• Operate forklift and other shipping equipment.
• Perform general office duties for records management.
