Job summary

L&L Products in United States is seeking a Research Manager to lead the R&D group, oversee material testing, and coordinate OEM submissions. You will mentor a team of scientists and technicians, drive new product ideas, and ensure alignment with global technical and commercial goals.

You will manage lab operations, support procurement processes, and collaborate with internal and external customers to validate product performance, using OEM and industry standards.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in the sciences, typically in the chemical and engineering sciences.
• Experience leading technical programs and/or personnel toward advancement of business goals.
• Experience in establishing credibility in the research group and in the business organization.
• Capable of fostering a collaborative environment across corporate functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a group of specialists and technicians to advance new product offerings and new process methodologies.
• Lead the R&D organization in problem resolution with a principled approach to frame and solve problems.
• Coordinate activities with multifunctional teams to align with company-wide goals.
• Independently develop innovative ideas in materials and processing technology and lead technical groups through exploration.
• Maintain global collaboration and knowledge of technical trends in academia, government, and industry.
• Manage laboratory operations, safety, and equipment; support iProcurement and external labs as needed.
