Job summary

Antora Energy is seeking a Materials R&D Lab Technician to join our materials team near San Jose, CA. In this hands-on role you’ll work with engineers to run high-temperature experiments, set up fixtures, and document results for thermal energy storage research.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in hardware R&D labs, operates furnaces and DAQ systems, and keeps meticulous lab notebooks while supporting safe, efficient lab operations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in a technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3+ years of hardware R&D lab experience.
• Direct experience operating furnaces, kilns, or other high-temperature equipment.
• Familiar with DAQs, thermocouples and lab instrumentation.
• Strong lab documentation habits and test reporting.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and databases; comfortable basic data analysis.
