Job summary

TekWissen Group is seeking a Materials Program Manager in Seattle, WA for a 6-month temporary onsite assignment. You will manage the program's financial and cost models for custom design and devices, coordinating with engineering and supply chain to drive development, budget, and schedule.

The role requires business acumen to capture and communicate financial exposures, own major supplier relationships, and oversee lifecycle milestones with executive reviews.

Responsibilities

• Set program cost and schedule targets with engineering and supply chain teams.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of components to support NPI and production builds.
• Coordinate activities across diverse Client groups to minimize escalations to executives.
• Track actual costs and milestones versus targets to identify deltas and corrective actions.
• Lead product introduction meetings to understand cost implications of engineering or process changes.
• Work with 3rd party suppliers to set purchase order costs for upcoming periods.
• Drive SOW and contract negotiations with suppliers for the program.
• Manage purchase price variance claims and schedule delays due to engineering changes or obsolescence.
• Provide detailed cost reduction forecasts to help meet and exceed program goals.
