Job summary

Skydio is seeking a Senior Materials Program Manager in Hayward, CA to drive material strategy and the Clear-to-Build process for drones and future products in a highly regulated environment. You will impact on-time customer shipments and overall company valuation.

You will plan BOM materials, manage CTB, mitigate risks, drive ECOs, and collaborate with purchasing and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting. FAA 107 encouraged for many roles and on-site work is required.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of related experience in OEM/JDM/ODM hardware business and CM experience.
• Strong analytical and data-based problem solving; able to handle massive data sets.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative team player.
• Knowledge of PLM software and ERP systems is a plus.
• On-site in Hayward, CA (3 days on-site per week).
• FAA Part 107 certification encouraged within 60 days for applicable roles.

Responsibilities

• Plan BOM materials to ensure availability of the right product at the right time across the lifecycle and CM sites.
• Manage CTB to drive material readiness and optimize inventory balance and cost exposure.
• Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans; escalate as needed.
• Use CTB to drive ECOs, product transitions, and material revisions for continuity.
• Collaborate with purchasing to secure supply commitments and resolve shortages.
• Work in a cross-functional team with manufacturing, program mgmt, design eng, and logistics.
• Engage with system developers to improve internal tools and processes.
