Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Columbus, GA is seeking a Materials Working Lead for the AIM Mod Center. This onsite, hands-on leadership role coordinates daily production activities, coaches team members, resolves material issues, and ensures safe, efficient work that meets quality standards.

The weekend night shift runs Friday to Sunday, 6:30 pm to 6:30 am; the role requires strong manufacturing experience, problem-solving, and ability to drive continuous improvement in a high‑volume environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years in manufacturing, production control, or logistics.
• Experience operating Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily work assignments and production priorities.
• Provide hands-on floor support by monitoring WIP and planning jobs.
• Lead, coach, and engage team members on standard work and safety.
• Monitor production performance and address issues with cross-functional teams.
• Support quality, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.
