Job summary

Rhone Apparel, Inc. seeks a Manager of Materials and Product Compliance to lead material development and ensure global product compliance. You will collaborate with Design, Product Development, Production and Sourcing to translate regulatory requirements into practical solutions.

The role blends hands-on fabric development with governance of chemical and labeling standards, supporting supplier relationships and cross-functional teams across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in textile/related field with strong material knowledge.
• 5–8 years experience in apparel materials, textile development or compliance.
• Experience adapting regulatory requirements into product specs and labeling.
• Familiarity with supplier management and testing protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead material development from concept to bulk commercialization.
• Translate objectives into technical briefs for mills and suppliers.
• Coordinate testing, wearer trials and approvals for production readiness.
• Ensure compliance across chemical, safety, labeling and performance standards.
• Review lab reports and manage documentation for product release.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Sourcing and Sustainability.
