Job summary

The Structures Company is seeking a Materials and Processes Engineer in Savannah, GA to lead complex projects and drive major technological advances. You will make critical technical decisions and communicate requirements to suppliers and internal teams, using Smarteam and Catia for reviews and test plans.

Open to engineers with extensive discipline experience; knowledge of continuous improvement and M&P principles is preferred. ITAR compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related curriculum.
• 13 years specific technical discipline or 15 years broad engineering experience in several technical disciplines with Bachelor’s.
• Experience generating and communicating technical requirements to external suppliers and internal multi-engineering disciplines.
• Experience with Smarteam and Catia for reviewing proposed designs and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Works on engineering projects containing critical problems requiring major technological advances.
• Leads the development of innovative principles and ideas to optimize technical product, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Conceives and plans investigation of broad areas for which engineering precedents are lacking.
