Job summary

CoorsTek in Golden, CO is seeking a Materials Process Operator to convert raw materials into ceramic powders using manual and automated equipment. You will run startups and shutdowns, follow safety procedures, and perform in-process quality checks.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic math skills, and 1–2 years of manufacturing experience; forklift experience is a plus. You will work with teams across shifts and maintain 6S standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years manufacturing experience a plus.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) procedures as required.
• Performs startups, shutdowns and product mix changes across standardized production processes with manual and basic automation components
• Identify technical problems and implement routine or directed solutions
• Follows documented and scheduled maintenance procedures
• Follow routine and repeatable work instructions and product mix specifications
• Learns and applies manufacturing principles and best practices
• Work closely with other operators to share information for production continuity between shifts, process steps or departments
• Perform in-process quality testing for assigned process area
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move material within the facility
• Maintain workspace cleanliness and follow 6S practices
• Assist in accurately tracking all inventory, supplies, and raw materials.
