Job summary

E-Space is developing a high-velocity polymer and composite parts program in the US. We seek a mid-level Materials & Process Engineer focused on manufacturing complex parts for large-scale production using advanced polymers and composites.

The role emphasizes equipment development, scalable processes, and hands-on implementation. You will design forming processes, develop tooling and fixtures, and drive high-volume production readiness while collaborating with design and manufacturing teams to

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 3-6 years' experience solving complex part manufacturing challenges with focus on scalable processes.
  • Expert-level SolidWorks skills including advanced modeling, drawings, and GD&T application.
  • Experience with advanced materials and high-volume forming processes such as thermosets, thermoplastics, elastomers.
  • Hands-on fabrication skills: machining, welding, assembly, and creative problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Complex Part Engineering: engineer solutions for producing parts with complex geometries, tight tolerances and demanding specs.
  • Problem-Solving Through Equipment Development: build presses, tooling and fixtures; create SolidWorks models and drawings with GD&T.
  • Part Development & Manufacturing Solutions: design and build forming processes for complex polymer/composite parts for high-volume production.
  • Hands-On Implementation: build and test tools and fixtures; troubleshoot quality issues for volume manufacturing.
