NORY New York is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Night Shift Studio Assistant to support our summer camp operations in NYC. This hands-on role involves prepping, organizing, and packing enrichment materials to help bring STEM education to life for thousands of children.

You will work the standard night shift 8:00 PM–6:00 AM, 20–40 hours per week, with occasional extended hours. You should be comfortable standing for long periods and lifting 20+ lbs while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Lifts 20+ lbs and handles materials safely.
  • Attention to detail and inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing enrichment program materials (arts and crafts, engineering materials)

NORY is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Night Shift Studio Assistant to support our summer camp operations. This hands-on role involves prepping, organizing, and packing enrichment materials to help bring STEM education to life for thousands of children. It’s perfect for someone who enjoys behind-the-scenes work and takes pride in staying organized and efficient.

Qualities We're Seeking:
  • Reliable, punctual, and focused
  • Knowledgable about prepping and packing materials
  • Hardworking, very organized, and efficient at multitasking
  • Strong attention to detail and memory retention
  • Clear written and verbal communication skillsli>
  • Strong problem-solving skills with basic math knowledge
  • Comfortable working independently during overnight hours
  • Artistic creativity is a plus
Responsibilities Include:
  • Preparing enrichment program materials (arts & crafts and engineering/tech materials)
  • Accurately packing, labeling, and organizing materials for camp distribution
  • Maintaining office organization for efficient operations

Requirements:
  • Familiarity with city navigation to perform occasional material deliveries
  • No experience necessary, but comfortability with operating power tools
  • Ability to stand, bend over, walk, etc., for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 20+ lbs
  • Familiarity with city navigation is a plus (for occasional material deliveries)
Work Schedule:
  • Standard night shift: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • We prefer regular hours, 20–40 hours per week
  • Extended hours may be available based on performance and team needs
Compensation:
  • $17 per hour
