Job summary

Geotech Engineering and Testing is seeking a Materials Project Manager to lead the Construction Materials Department across laboratory and field operations in Houston. You will supervise technicians and coordinate services for public and private clients, with a focus on soils, concrete, asphalt, and steel testing.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and strong management, technical, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s or master’s in civil engineering.
• Available to work 55 hours.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with A2LA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule a team of technicians.
• Focus on soils, concrete, asphalt, and steel testing.
• Help market clients and answer questions.
• Proposal writing.
• Review field and laboratory test and data.
• Review invoices.
• Review CME reports.
• Candidates must have a bachelor’s or master’s in civil engineering; strong management, technical and communication skills.
