Lead the material flow that keeps Monroe moving
As the MP&L Manager, you’ll direct end-to-end material and information flow for our Monroe plant and its offsite locations. You’ll own Master Scheduling, Materials Planning, Warehouse Management, Receiving, Sequencing, Shipping, and Inventory Control. You will also plan and purchase nonproduction materials and services while championing continuous improvement, SAP master data stewardship, and disciplined MRP usage.
You start by reviewing SAP MRP exceptions and overnight KPIs covering inventory, planning, freight, packaging, and Nonproduction materials (Including recyclables). You align the master schedule with demand, confirm JIT coverage for packaging, raw material, WIP, and components, and resolve any critical stock risks. Midday, you collaborate with Customer Service on delivery commitments and information quality, coach your team on cycle count results, and drive corrective actions to sustain at least 95% inventory accuracy. In the afternoon, you optimize inventory days and safety stocks to buffer swings in customer volume without disrupting operations, track progress toward $0 expedited inbound and outbound freight, and finalize budget-to-actuals for Materials, Freight, Packaging, and Nonproduction purchasing. You close the day standardizing processes, improving SAP master data, and coordinating with IT on supply-chain-related systems in the plant.
