Job summary

Woodstream Corp. in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Supply Chain/Material Planning Intern to gain hands‑on experience across the full planning cycle.

You will work with experienced planners to support material planning, production scheduling, and inventory management in a structured, project‑based program. Ideal candidates recently completed a Bachelor's degree in a related field, are proficient in Excel, and possess strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data sorting, filtering, and basic pivot tables.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing MRP signals to understand purchasing and production requirements.
• Support the creation and maintenance of daily and weekly production schedules.
• Help monitor actual production against schedule and assist with attainment reporting.
• Assist with placing and tracking purchase orders for materials.
• Support inventory discrepancy identification and resolution with the inventory team.
• Help maintain inventory tracking data and review aging inventory parameters.
• Participate in cross‑functional planning meetings with care, logistics, quality, and marketing teams.
• Complete a capstone project related to supply chain planning or inventory management.
