Job summary

Woodstream Corporation is seeking a Material Planner I in Lititz, PA to ensure product availability and optimize inventory. The role involves planning several hundred items, placing orders for over $15 million annually, and balancing cost, lead time, supplier capacity, and inventory goals.

The successful candidate will have a BS in a related field, 1–3 years of planning experience, and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP desirable).

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Business, Management, or related field.
• 1–3 years’ experience in a planning/purchasing environment.
• ERP/MRP systems experience; SAP desirable.
• Strong data management and financial analysis skills.
• Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and OneNote proficiency; Power BI a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders and production plans to ensure product availability for customer orders and inventory management.
• Evaluate plant/supplier capacity and place purchase/production orders accordingly.
• Maintain accurate PO quantities and delivery dates in the system.
• Monitor shop floor schedules to ensure timely production.
• Lead projects related to inventory issues and returns.
• Collaborate with Quality, Transportation, Operations Finance, Product Management, Customer Care, and Marketing.
