Job summary

Woodstream Corporation is seeking a Material Planner I in Lititz, PA to ensure product availability and optimize inventory. The role involves planning several hundred items, placing orders for over $15 million annually, and balancing cost, lead time, supplier capacity, and inventory goals.

The successful candidate will have a BS in a related field, 1–3 years of planning experience, and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP desirable).

Qualifications

BS Degree in Business, Management, or related field.
1–3 years’ experience in a planning/purchasing environment.
ERP/MRP systems experience; SAP desirable.
Strong data management and financial analysis skills.
Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and OneNote proficiency; Power BI a plus.

Responsibilities

Create purchase orders and production plans to ensure product availability for customer orders and inventory management.
Evaluate plant/supplier capacity and place purchase/production orders accordingly.
Maintain accurate PO quantities and delivery dates in the system.
Monitor shop floor schedules to ensure timely production.
Lead projects related to inventory issues and returns.
Collaborate with Quality, Transportation, Operations Finance, Product Management, Customer Care, and Marketing.
