Job summary

CS Power Systems, a division of Canadian Solar, is seeking a Material Control Specialist I for its US cell manufacturing site in Indiana. You will participate in planning and controlling materials, creating BOMs, and coordinating with planning, warehousing and purchasing teams to ensure orderly production flow.

The role requires a degree in a related field and 1+ year in supply chain; English fluency is essential and Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

Over 1 year of experience in supply chain, warehousing or material planning in a multinational manufacturing environment.
Basic knowledge of ERP platforms or SAP is a must.
Exceptional communication skills and fluent written/spoken English; Mandarin is a plus.
Ability to operate in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

Helps to manage and oversee Material Center while coordinating with Planning, Data Analysis and Warehouse teams.
Monitors material levels and supports planning for cell production.
Creates Bill of Materials (BOM) for cell production.
Works with Warehouse to ensure Production Orders are fulfilled.
Confirms material deliveries to production lines.
Issues purchase orders to the Purchasing team.
Leverages SAP and supports ISO 9001 activities.
Participates in weekly planning and purchasing conference calls.
