Charter Next Generation, Inc. (CNG) in Green Bay, WI, seeks a skilled Materials Planner to own material planning, purchasing, and scheduling aligned with production plans.

You will manage materials, forecast needs, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, adherence to SOPs, and driving continuous improvement across 18+ facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years in materials planning, purchasing or supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and Word.
• ERP/MRP, advanced planning & scheduling, master scheduling, inventory control.
• Experience with raw materials used in process preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• Own production scheduling for assigned plant(s) balancing demand and capacity.
• Develop and maintain executable schedules aligned with customer requirements.
• Make real-time scheduling decisions to optimize service and throughput.
• Adjust schedules for equipment issues or material shortages.
• Collaborate with Technical, Maintenance, Procurement, and Customer Service.
• Communicate timelines to CAS team and stakeholders.
• Drive efficiency through regular schedule reviews with plant leadership.
• Identify and implement scheduling improvements and process changes.
• Analyze performance, identify root causes of variances, implement corrective actions.
• Ensure orders are accurately maintained in the system.
• Support OTIF/CAS with data analysis across sites.
• Ensure compliance with Product Safety Standards and SOPs.
• Drive cost optimization in outside services with planning.
