Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to support manufacturing operations by receiving, storing, moving, and issuing materials while maintaining precise inventory records. You will operate material handling equipment and perform ERP/MRP transactions to ensure material availability for production.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, verification of material identification, and collaboration with shipping, receiving, and production teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-5 years previous warehouse, stockroom, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems and inventory control processes preferred.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment or obtain certification.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies.
• Issue materials to manufacturing work orders and production personnel.
• Move materials between stockroom, warehouse, and production areas using approved material handling equipment.
• Perform inventory transactions in the ERP/MRP system to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
• Verify material identification, traceability, and proper documentation.
• Maintain organized storage locations and ensure material is properly labeled and protected from damage.
• Support shipping and receiving activities as required.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures related to material handling, storage, and inventory control.
• Follow all safety policies and operating procedures.
• Assist with continuous improvement activities related to warehouse and material flow processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
