Job summary

Corning Inc. is seeking a Materials Planner in Keller, TX to ensure on-time delivery by managing order acknowledgments, material availability, and supply flow.

You will collaborate with suppliers, production teams, and customer service to maintain a reliable raw-material pipeline and address daily fulfillment needs. The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of planning experience, with ES/ERP and SAP experience highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required
• Minimum 2 years planning experience
• Experience with ERP Systems

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer orders, production capacity, and material availability to establish accurate promise ship dates
• Develop and maintain Master Production Schedules for assigned manufacturing areas
• Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, and replenishment strategies to optimize availability and efficiency
• Secure raw materials from internal and external suppliers in alignment with forecasts and production requirements
• Coordinate timely and accurate receipt and delivery of materials to the manufacturing facility
• Partner with Customer Service, Manufacturing, and suppliers to manage schedule changes and lead-time improvements
• Maintain accurate planning data in ASI, including lead times and safety-stock levels
• Participate in daily production and cross-functional meetings and audits (ISO, safety, 5S, SOX)
