Job summary

Kelly is hiring a temporary Material Handler in Greensboro, NC. The role supports production by forecasting and ordering materials, moving items on the floor, and preparing shipments. It is an entry-level position with tasks executed per established procedures.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour. Kelly offers eligibility for a range of benefits and paid time off as part of employment.

Qualifications

• No prior related experience required; basic job skills will be taught.
• Ability to follow established procedures and complete routine tasks.
• Ability to lift heavy items and use material-handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assess material needs at the start of each shift and order supplies.
• Transport raw materials, components, packaging, finished goods, and scrap.
• Prepare outgoing materials by scanning, labeling, and wrapping.
• Complete shipping paperwork and intercompany bills of lading.
• Unpack deliveries and verify items against POs or invoices.
• Maintain receiving records and report unsatisfactory items.
• Record weights and shipping charges.
• Lift heavy items and operate forklift or pallet jack when required.
