Job summary

Kelly is hiring a temporary Material Handler in Greensboro, NC to support production by forecasting and ordering materials, moving items on and off the production floor, and preparing shipments. Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to follow established procedures and complete routine tasks.
• Ability to lift heavy items and operate material-handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assess material needs at the start of each shift and order supplies to support the production schedule.
• Transport raw materials, components, packaging, finished goods, and scrap to and from the production floor.
• Prepare outgoing materials by scanning, labeling, and wrapping them.
• Complete shipping paperwork, including intercompany bills of lading.
• Unpack deliveries and verify items against purchase orders or invoices.
• Maintain receiving records and report or reject unsatisfactory items.
• Record weights and shipping charges.
• Lift heavy items and operate a forklift or pallet jack when required.
