Triton Environmental Consultants, Ltd. is seeking a Materials Planner to coordinate daily outbound shipments, prepare shipping documents, and align with warehouse, production, and carriers to ensure on-time delivery to customers.

The role emphasizes strong planning, attention to detail, and clear communication to manage changing requirements, maintain accurate records, and support inventory reconciliation across shipping and receiving teams.

Formación

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Shipping, warehouse, logistics, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience preparing bills of lading and shipping documentation preferred.
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, Outlook, and ERP/WMS systems.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple shipments and changing requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work effectively with warehouse employees, carriers, and other departments.

Responsabilidades

  • Plan and coordinate daily outbound shipments based on customer requirements, production availability, priorities, and carrier schedules.
  • Prepare shipping paperwork, packing lists, bills of lading (BOLs), labels, and other required shipping documentation.
  • Schedule truck pickups and coordinate with freight carriers, parcel carriers, and internal personnel.
  • Develop and communicate the daily shipping plan to warehouse personnel.
  • Verify that orders are complete and ready for shipment.
  • Ensure shipping documentation matches the product, quantities, customer requirements, and shipping instructions.
  • Complete required system transactions for shipped orders.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare daily and weekly shipping reports, including shipments completed, open orders, late shipments, and other key metrics.
  • Monitor shipment priorities and communicate potential delays or issues to the appropriate departments.
  • Track shipments and assist with resolving freight, documentation, or delivery issues.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical shipping records.
  • Support inventory reconciliation and research shipping discrepancies when required.
  • Assist with freight claims, proof-of-delivery requests, and shipment-related customer inquiries.
  • Coordinate with Shipping & Receiving Associates to ensure trucks are loaded according to the shipping plan.
  • Follow company safety, quality, and operating procedures.
  • Perform other warehouse administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Materials Planner (Finance)

Position Summary The Materials Planner is responsible for coordinating the administrative and planning activities associated with daily warehouse shipping operations. This position ensures shipments are properly planned, scheduled, documented, reported, and communicated to support accurate and on-time delivery to customers. The Materials Planner works closely with warehouse personnel, production, customer service, planning, carriers, and other departments to coordinate outbound shipments and maintain accurate shipping records.
