#twiceasnice Recruiting in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Buyer/Planner to keep material flow smooth and on target. You will build demand-based material plans, balance cost with service, and optimize 8,000 SKUs using ERP/MRP tools.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in SCM or related field, has 3 years planning experience, and is CPIM-certified or willing to obtain within the first year. Proficiency in Excel and data analysis is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Business Engineering, or related field required.
• At least 3 years in material planning, inventory control, or production planning.
• CPIM certification or willingness to obtain within first year.
• MRP/ERP systems experience required.
• Excel and data analysis proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Build material plans aligned to demand variability based on historical usage, forecasts, trends.
• Anticipate demand shifts and adjust plans accordingly through collaboration with internal teams.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels across 8,000 active SKUs.
• Manage safety stock and reorder points using ERP/MRP systems for material replenishment.
• Communicate with suppliers about material requirements, delivery schedules, and changes.
• Align production schedules, material availability, and customer delivery commitments.
• Support kitting, staging, and replenishment for engineered assemblies and configured products.
• Manage accurate planning parameters in ERP systems.
• Participate in SIOP meetings; contribute to scenario planning and cross-functional alignment.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy, inventory health, and ERP system utilization.
• Liaise with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Engineering on priorities and timelines.
