Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking a Materials Planner to keep production and shipping moving by ensuring ingredients, packaging, and supplies are available when needed. You will track inventory, manage min/max levels, and flag shortages or expiring items early.

Responsibilities include purchasing and receiving, creating POs, scheduling deliveries, verifying receipts against COAs, and maintaining accurate inventory records with cycle counts and FIFO/FEFO rotation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in inventory control, materials, purchasing, or warehouse ops.
• Experience with ERP/WMS and Excel (lookups, pivots).
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Effective supplier and internal team communication.
• Preferred: supply chain education, GMP/food safety knowledge, APICS/ASCM cert, forklift, bilingual English/Spanish.

The role involves tracking inventory, managing min/max levels, and flagging shortages or expiring items early. Purchasing and receiving also fall under this position, from creating POs and scheduling deliveries to verifying receipts against COAs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience in inventory control, materials, purchasing, or warehouse operations.
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems and strong Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and documentation skills.
• Effective communication and organizational skills when working with suppliers and internal teams.
• Preferred: Supply chain education, food manufacturing experience, GMP/food safety knowledge, APICS/ASCM certification, forklift certification, and bilingual English/Spanish skills.
