Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a Materials/Picking associate for 1st shift in Morristown, TN. You will move products, load/unload materials, and organize items to their designated areas within the facility.

You will collaborate with the Yard Supervisor and Materials Manager, handle returns paperwork, and assist with quarterly inventory while maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a forklift operation test.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to push, pull, bend and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

As a member of our team you'll enjoy excellent benefits, opportunities for growth, and an encouraging culture that supports work / life balance.**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY**Movement of products and basic organization of product to specified areas of the facility.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND DAILY TASKS*** Coordinates with Yard Supervisor and Materials Manager.* Receive returned materials and process appropriate paperwork.* Loading, unloading of materials.* Maintains quality expectation of documentation.* Required to help with quarterly inventory.* Performs other duties as required by management.**COMPETENCIES*** Must be able to speak and write clearly and professionally.* Must be customer service oriented with a positive personality.* Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with team.* Knowledge of basic mathematics.* Need to be able to identify product descriptions when picking orders.**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*** Able to pass a test on operating a fork lift.* Building materials knowledge is a plus.* Must be capable of working independently and in a team environment.* Able to push, pull, bend, and lift at least 50lbs.* Other physical duties, as needed.* High School Diploma or General Education Degree.* 90% of work to be performed in an outdoor environment subject weather, noise, and dust.Full-time team members have the flexibility to create their own health, dental, and vision benefits package.
