Job summary

Charter Next Generation, Inc. in Blythewood, SC is seeking a Full Time Direct Labor position. You will be part of a team operating in-line equipment, maintaining quality checks, and supporting production on a 12-hour shift schedule.

This role requires forklift experience, ability to lift up to 65 pounds, and strong communication. A drug screen will be required as part of pre-employment screening. Wages start at $18.00 per hour with a $2.50 shift differential.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools.
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Wages starting at $18.00 per hour with a $2.50 shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Operate the in-line Eremas in the production area and support overall production.
• Coordinate with Scheduling and Production to meet internal repro demands.
• Organize scrap/repro inventories and assist with shipments to other facilities, including loading trucks.
• Follow housekeeping standards including sweeping and equipment cleaning.
• Complete all quality checks as specified.
• Operate the rewinder and perform quality checks for defects, splicing, and slitting.
• Back up the stretch wrapping station and assist Shipping/Production as needed.
• Assist in staging resin and packaging supplies for Production when needed.
• Assist with inventory counts of scrap, repro, finished goods, raw materials, and packaging supplies.
• Comply with AIB and BRC Standards and SOPs.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement activities and teams.

The Role

From machine operators to maintenance technicians to quality inspectors, our teams help protect what matters most—making everyday life safer, smarter, and more sustainable.

Schedule:

Work only 15 days per month with our unique 2-2-3 schedule

• 12-hour static shifts (Nights - 6:00pm – 6:00am)

What You'll Do

• Supporting Production in the operation of the in-line Eremas.
• Working with Scheduling and Production to ensure that internal repro demands are met.
• Organize scrap/repro inventories and assists in scrap/repro shipments to other facilities including loading trucks.
• Follow housekeeping standards including sweeping, wiping down equipment, dumping garbage and trim, as required.
• Complete all quality checks as specified.
• Operate the rewinder, conducting quality check for defects, splicing and slitting as required.
• Back up the stretch wrapping station and assists in Shipping and/or Production as needed.
• Assist in staging resin and packaging supplies for Production if needed.
• Assist with inventory counts of scrap, repro, finished goods, raw materials, and packaging supplies.
• Comply with all AIB and BRC Standards and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Participates in Continuous Improvement activities and teams.
