Job summary

Epic Piping seeks a dedicated supervisor to oversee the Material Issuing and Receiving departments. The role involves coordinating clerical staff, ensuring correct MDR documentation, and cross-training team members to maintain efficient operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Project Managers and QA/QC to resolve material issues, and assisting with customer furnished material and related billing inquiries. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• 5+ years of Materials Management/Project Management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and JD Edwards.

Responsibilities

• Assesses daily workload and delegates duties to department team members.
• Supervises Material Issuing & Receiving departments and consumables.
• Ensures MDRs are written, logged, and resolved accurately.
• Cross-trains office personnel within the department.
• Resolves material issues within the department.
• Assists QA/QC with quarantine items clearance.
• Coordinates customer furnished material for purchase orders.
• Collaborates with Project Managers to resolve issues with customer furnished material and held spools; liaises with AP on billing.
