Job summary

DP World in York, PA is seeking an experienced Materials Supervisor to plan, direct and coordinate operations at the facility, driving performance and efficiency. You will oversee receiving, shipping, storage, and distribution to ensure parts reach the correct departments.

You will train and motivate the team, monitor performance, and ensure safe operation of material handling equipment while addressing hazards and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Experience supervising in automotive or logistics.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work with internal and external customers and departments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and monitor receiving, shipping, storage, and distribution.
• Train, motivate, and evaluate team performance; ensure safe equipment operation.
• Oversee unloading/loading and movement of materials to storage.
• Identify and eliminate safety and housekeeping hazards; perform other duties.
