Job summary

The Museum of Science, Boston, seeks a Materials and Operations Associate to provide hands-on operational support for PK12 workshops, conferences, and outreach. You will organize materials, restock supplies, and coordinate with educators and vendors for successful in-person and virtual events.

You will manage inventories, assemble professional learning kits, support event registrations, and assist with kit development while collaborating across teams to continuously improve processes.

Qualifications

• Experience organizing materials and managing inventory.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and office software.
• Strong communication with educators and vendors.
• Interest in PK12 education.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize, pack, ship, receive, and restock materials for workshops and conferences.
• Maintain materials, inventory, and kits; track hundreds of items.
• Support registration and customer service for educators.
• Assist with sourcing materials and vendor communications.
• Maintain organized PK12 spaces and assist with A/V setup.
• Collaborate across PK12 and other teams to improve processes.
