Job summary

The Museum of Science in Boston is seeking an In-Gallery Learning Program Assistant to facilitate hands-on STEM activities in staffed galleries.

You will engage visitors for 4+ hours daily, support gallery operations, and participate in ongoing training across programs.

Applicants must have completed a Youth Internship at the Museum of Science and are prepared to work with diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have successfully completed a previous Youth Internship at the Museum of Science.

Responsibilities

• Engage visitors: Interact directly with museum visitors for 4+ hours per day facilitating activities and interpretations.
• Support IGL operations: Assist with the setup and breakdown of daily activities. Help maintain gallery teaching spaces and materials.
• Ongoing Training: Train on additional In-Gallery Learning activities as needed.
