Qualifications

What We Offer

Location: NH S Asheville Medical Plaza - 1815 Hendersonville Road Asheville, NC 28803

Schedule/Hours: Full time, days, NO WEEKENDS/HOLIDAYS/NIGHTS/CALL

Current or prior SPD experience needed

The Materials Manager ASC coordinates activities, supplies, and vendors to ensure safe, high-quality patient care along with cost effective and efficient operations of the surgery center. This role will primarily focus on the Sterile Processing Department.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
• Experience: Three years as a surgical tech or materials management, required.
• Additional Skills/Requirements (required):
  • Computer experience required (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel preferred) as well as knowledge of computer inventory management systems, electronic health records, and various software programs.
  • Knowledge/experience in using pallet jack, dock board and hand trucks.
  • Must possess the ability to prioritize responsibilities, organize, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of medical products as well as knowledge of stocking and storing medical and non-medical supplies.
  • Effective oral & written communication skills.
  • Good numerical skills.
  • Ability to function effectively within a team-oriented work environment.
