Surgery Partners Brand is seeking a Materials Manager to oversee inventory and supply chain operations within a hospital/ surgery center setting. You will coordinate receiving, distribution, and supplier relationships to ensure timely availability of instruments and equipment for daily cases.
The role requires strong organization, vendor negotiation skills, and experience with inventory systems. You will work closely with clinical staff and management, with some travel and a focus on cost
Manage vendor relationships to maximize service levels, minimize acquisition costs and increase inventory turnover. Responsible for material/disposable planning, scheduling, purchasing and production/inventory control systems. Ensure that the Center has the supplies, instruments and equipment they need when they are needed and that special patient care needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Essential functions:
Managesshippingandreceivingtoensureaccuracyofinventorytransactions. Follows established company policies and procedures.
Performs job following the company’s injury prevention program. Performs other duties as assigned. Sometravelrequired.
Requirements/Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent.
Bachelor’s in operations management, business, or another related field preferred. Threeyears’experienceasMaterialsManagerforahospital,surgerycenterorhigh-volumephysician’soffice.
Excellent organizational, written, computer, and verbal communication skills Should be very client driven and understand internal and external customers' needs.

Environmental/working conditions:
Normal busy office environment with much telephone work. Occasional evening or weekend work.
