Job summary

Korn Ferry is partnering to recruit a Materials Manager for a large Florida manufacturing operation. The role supervises production planning, purchasing, inventory control, scheduling, logistics, and material management, guiding a transitioning ERP system and leading a strong materials team.

The successful candidate will drive supply chain performance, partner with operations and sales, and contribute to operational excellence across the site in Pensacola, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations, or related field.
• Extensive leadership experience in materials management within an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Experience in building products, construction materials, HVAC, automotive, or similar sectors.
• Strong ERP/MRP experience including demand planning, forecasting, inventory control, purchasing, and production planning.
• Experience supporting or leading Oracle ERP implementation projects is highly preferred.
• Deep understanding of material flow, inventory accuracy, and supply chain execution in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams, drive accountability, and improve business performance.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with operations, manufacturing, sales, and supply chain teams.

This leadership position will oversee production planning, purchasing, inventory control, scheduling, logistics, and material management while supporting a transitioning ERP system. The role offers the opportunity to lead a sizeable team and play a key part in driving supply chain performance and operational excellence.

Key Qualifications:
