Qualifications

• Working knowledge of stocking and storing medical and non-medical supplies.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a work environment aligned with USPI EDGE and our service mission.
• Maintain inventory levels; set par levels for supplies.
• Utilize USPI national agreements for supply usage.
• Coordinate with departments to place, follow up, and deliver orders.
• Resolve issues with sales reps related to supplies and delivery.

USPI Cypress Endoscopy Center is seeking a motivated Materials Manager to join our team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of a unit work environment that reflects USPI's EDGE, performance improvement and customer service program consistent with the Corporation's Mission Statement.
• Maintains adequate inventory levels by checking shelves and automated inventory system and establishes par levels for all supplies.
• Ensures utilization of USPI national agreements.
• Interfaces with appropriate departments to ensure proper placement, follow up and delivery of orders.
• Interacts with sales representatives resolving issues and problems related to supplies or the delivery of supplies.
• Establishes and maintains proper document flow and information updates for the automated inventory system.
• Receives all incoming supply and equipment items.
• Checks supply dated items and regularly rotates stock.
• Implements and maintains all facets of the automated inventory system.
• Conducts quarterly physical inventory of implants and inventory items.
• Performs other tasks and duties as assigned in an efficient, effective and cost-conscious manner, complying with all USPI's policies, procedures and regulations.
