Job summary

nVent is seeking a Materials Management leader to drive daily and strategic operations across the materials function. You will provide resources, direction, and problem-solving to meet business goals while promoting a lean, high-engagement culture on the plant floor and in the office.

The role requires 3+ years of leadership in manufacturing, strong communication, and a proven ability to implement process improvements and change management across fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Ideally 3+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence.
  • Efficiently operate computer programs including Microsoft Office.
  • Clear understanding of Lean Manufacturing mindset.
  • Change Management with knowledge of process improvement concepts and methods.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate daily and strategic management as the Materials Management leader

YOU HAVE:
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Ideally 3+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to present and influence views in a clear and compelling manner
  • Efficiently operate computer programs including Microsoft Office
  • Clearly demonstrate understanding of Lean Manufacturing mindset
  • Change Management with the knowledge of process improvement concepts and methods, along with the flexibility and adaptability to accept, support, and deploy new processes in a changing business environment
  • Function in a rapidly changing, fast paced environment, with a positive attitude
  • Rotate between an office and plant floor seamlessly
