Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking a Materials Planning & Logistics professional to strengthen inventory control and MPL workflows across our Highland Park facility. You will oversee daily movements, ensure data accuracy, and act as the primary MPL liaison to customers, driving on-time delivery and service levels.

In this role you will monitor KPIs, lead continuous improvements in MPL processes, and collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to optimize material flow and cost

Qualifications

• Experience managing inventory movements and scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to maintain inventory accuracy through data management and audits.
• Proven collaboration with production, engineering and supply chain teams.
• Familiarity with MES processes and ERP systems to drive visibility and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inventory movements and scheduling, ensuring accurate and efficient materials management across the facility.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through rigorous data management, auditing, and process improvements using the QAD ERP system.
• Serve as the primary interface for customer Materials Planning and Logistics (MPL) concerns, promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Monitor and achieve departmental KPIs related to inventory management, scheduling accuracy, and customer responsiveness.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for continuous improvement in MPL processes.
• Champion the plan for every part process, driving ownership and alignment across teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to optimize material flow.
• Analyze process efficiency and identify opportunities for cost reductions, waste elimination, and enhanced service levels.
