GE Vernova is seeking a Materials Manager in the United States to oversee material planning, shipping/receiving, inbound and outbound logistics, and inventory control across multiple co-located units to meet production needs while minimizing costs.
You will lead a team of materials professionals, collaborate with Sourcing, Planning, and Project Management, implement inventory systems, and monitor KPIs like turnover and on-time delivery to ensure compliance and efficiency.
We are looking for a Materials Manager to ensure the efficient management of materials, inventory, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing material planning, shipping and receiving, inbound and outbound logistics, warehouse, customs and inventory control ensuring that materials are available to meet production demands while minimizing costs and maintaining optimal inventory levels across multiple co-located business units.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position. Strong understanding of materials management principles, inventory control, and procurement processes. Experience with materials management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and suppliers. Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing a team.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $91,700.00 and $152,700.00.
The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
