Job summary

Terex Durand is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead the site’s materials function and support NPPD, reporting to the Director of Operations.

You will develop and implement supply chain strategies, manage KPI targets, and oversee procurement, inventory, and logistics. Collaboration with Quality, Finance and Production will be essential to minimize production impact and improve overall performance.

Qualifications

  • BS in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years in materials management or supervision.

  • Oversee day-to-day supply chain operations and people management.

  • Coordinate with Quality, Finance and Production to minimize production impact.
  • Oversee inbound/outbound logistics and 3PL shipments, including international.
  • Lead SQDCM objectives with the leadership team.

Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Operations you will be responsible for the Supply Chain Function which includes full accountability and responsibility for all materials at the Durand site. The role will also have responsibility for supporting NPPD and works directly with key stakeholders to drive the function forwards.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop, lead, and execute Supply Chain and Purchasing Strategies and Policies that are aligned with corporate initiatives, while using Lean Techniques to support the wider business.
  • Define, implement, and regularly improve supply chain KPI’s and targets ensuring clear time plans to reach targets.
  • Day‑to‑day management of the Supply Chain Function, including all aspects of people management (including Performance Reviews, Disciplinary, Talent Development).
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
  • Assisting and working with group level commodity buyers to identify suppliers, gather quotes, and assess lead time and place orders.
  • Supporting the ECO process and related procurement activity.
  • Inventory Management – including accurate Cycle Counting (>95% Target both $ value and unit count), management of raw material, completion of month end process.
  • Work cross‑functionally with Quality, Finance and Production to ensure compliance with reject note process and to minimize the impact to production.
  • Assist with the loading of material demand into the MRP System.
  • Facilitating the flow of material and finished goods shipments through 3rd Party Logistic Suppliers including international shipments and expediting as required.
  • Any other duties as deemed appropriate to the role.
  • Assist leadership team in all SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Moral) objectives.
Basic Qualifications
  • BS in Supply Chain (CIPS), Business Administration and/or 2+ years experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience of working in a materials management or materials supervisory role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience of managing procurement spend up to $20M.
  • Strong experience/knowledge of ERP/MRP Systems (Oracle a strong plus).
  • Proven track record of managing teams.
  • Evidence of the ability to work to both implement and work to targets and KPI’s to improve performance.
  • Proven negotiation skills and ability to hit on time delivery targets.Proven experience with low-cost country sourcing project management.
  • Effective sourcing and vendor management experience.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
