Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Materials Manager to lead the onsite materials team, including buyers and supply chain professionals, at our Clinton facility. The role owns material flow from suppliers through production, with a strong emphasis on inventory accuracy and cycle counting.

You will drive ERP/MRP planning, manage supplier relationships, oversee full physical inventories, and partner with Operations to ensure efficient, measurable supply chain performance.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of Materials Management experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Bachelor's degree
• Proven leadership experience managing buyers and supply chain teams, along with direct oversight of inventory control and material movement within a plant setting
• Deep expertise in inventory accuracy and control, including ownership of cycle counting programs, full physical inventories, root cause analysis, and audit readiness
• Strong MRP/ERP proficiency and data-driven planning capability, with a track record of preventing shortages, managing demand, and improving material flow
• Hands-on experience across warehouse, logistics, and production support, including working closely with hourly material handlers, supporting line-side delivery, and navigating schedule changes APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, etc.)
