Matrix Service Company is seeking a Materials Manager to oversee receipt, inspection, storage, protection, preservation, and issuance of goods to sustain construction activity. You will lead inventory control, coordinate requisitions, and guide material planning across sites.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Inventory Management and Supply Chain.
• Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, procedures, and materials in industrial construction.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field; preferred.
• Strong organization and communication skills; capable of leading initiatives.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Outlook and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Receipt, care, custody, and control of goods delivered to the jobsite.
• Operate and maintain the project inventory control system; fulfill requisitions.
• Strategic and day-to-day management of all material management activities and staff.
• Maintain reporting on materials and planning/allocation to support construction.

Travel Requirements

Must be willing and able to travel to assigned project site locations as required. Per diem will be provided for eligible travel assignments in accordance with company policy.

Essential Functions

• Always represent the Company with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.”


• Actively support the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values.”


• Generally responsible for receipt, care, custody, and control of Goods delivered to the jobsite.


• Operates/maintains the project inventory control system. Fulfills Construction requisitions for required Goods.


• Strategic and day-day management of all Material Management control activities and staff.


• Maintain reporting relative to Materials and Material Planning/Allocation to support Construction.


• Will serve as a key member of the Project Management Team and participate in progress/planning meetings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in Inventory Management and Supply Chain.


• Strong knowledge of the tools, equipment, procedures, and materials used in the industrial construction industry.


• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent related experience, in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, preferred.


• Strong organization and communication skills.


• Must be a self-motivated individual who takes initiative and sees projects through to completion.


• Efficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and ERP Systems.


• This position may incur overtime, travel, and be jobsite location based.
