Overview

Performs tasks involved in the manufacture of medical devices, following written procedures. Responsibilities include developing production schedules, managing inventories, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring customer requirements are met. The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and experience in production planning and purchasing.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer and company objectives.
  2. Manage inventories, including quarterly reviews and adjustments, ensuring support for production needs.
  3. Coordinate procurement activities, negotiate with vendors, and maintain supplier performance.
  4. Forecast material prices, manage budgets, and maintain accurate system data.
  5. Serve as the primary contact for customers, ensuring delivery and satisfaction.
  6. Support quality assurance and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of production planning and purchasing experience in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical and decision-making abilities.
Physical & Work Environment

Requires handling objects up to 30 lbs, working in a well-lit office environment, and possibly wearing protective equipment for certain tasks.
