Job summary

Sycamore Specialty Hospital in Sycamore, IL, is seeking a Director of Purchasing to manage evaluation, procurement, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment in a hybrid LTACH and Inpatient Rehab setting. You will oversee the purchasing Office, storeroom, and coordinate GPO contracts.

Qualifications

• Must have LTACH or Inpatient Rehab experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of two years’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee evaluation, procurement, storage and distribution of supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate GPO contracts and Premier Purchasing Contracts.
• Manage contract reviews and purchasing practices to maximize savings and compliance.
• Reconcile invoices with Accounts Payable when discrepancies occur.
• Orient new leadership on purchasing policies and practices.
• Assist in preparing departmental operating and capital budgets within approved budgets.
