The University of Miami/UHealth department of Supply Chain has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Materials Management Clerk 2 to work in Miami, FL.

The role coordinates the transfer of raw materials, parts, and finished products, ensures that supplies are purchased, received, inspected, and stored, and supports timely deliveries across the organization. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the transfer of raw materials, parts, and finished products and ensure supplies are purchased, received, inspected, and stored in the applicable facility locations.
  • Deliver products throughout the organization as needed.
  • Maintain all order-related documentation and tracking information.
  • Approve all critical supply logs for storeroom inventory supplies.
  • Review product use and coordinate ordering to ensure the best pricing.
  • Work with other departments to resolve inventory and supply order issues, ensure timely deliveries, and address stop shipments or credit holds.
  • Check expiration dates on supplies in inventory and rotate supplies.
  • Assist in unloading and unpacking of inventory items as they are received.
  • Notify appropriate managing staff of issues such as overstocking and discrepancies.
  • Fill tickets and requisitions and deliver supplies to appropriate locations on time.
  • Ensure supplies are charged appropriately on the day of delivery.
  • Print and place appropriate labels on inventory packages.
  • Ensure receiving and ordering paperwork is accurate and preserved appropriately.
  • Make scheduled and/or unscheduled (emergent) deliveries of product throughout the organization as required.
  • Adhere to University and unit-level policies and safeguard University assets.

The University of Miami/UHealth department of Supply Chain has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Materials Management Clerk 2 to work in Miami, FL.

  • The Materials Management Clerk 2 (H) coordinates the transfer of raw materials, parts, and finished products and ensures that all supplies are purchased, received, inspected, and stored in the applicable facility locations.
  • As well as making deliveries of product/s throughout the organization.
  • The Materials Management Clerk 2 (H) helps to ensure compliance with the appropriate quality standards.
  • Maintains all order-related documentation and tracking information.
  • Approves all critical supply logs for storeroom inventory supplies.
  • Reviews product use and coordinates ordering to ensure the best pricing.
  • Works with other departments to resolve inventory and supply order issues, ensure timely deliveries, and address stop shipments or credit holds.

Core Qualifications
