Qualifications

• Successful completion of all orientation programs required.

Responsabilités

• Stores, processes, collects and distributes supplies and equipment to and from the hospital.
• Maintains adequate supply levels in all areas.
• Receives, keys, and promptly distributes all supplies within the facility.
• Reviews and maintains par levels for storeroom safety stock and other stocking locations.
• Conducts physical inventories of Point of Use areas as scheduled.
• Delivers and collects Materials Management products to and from the hospital.

The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

A Typical Day

Stores, processes, collects and distributes all supplies and equipment products to and from the hospital. Ensures adequate supply levels in all areas. The Distribution Attendant is responsible for receiving, keying, and promptly distributing all supplies within the facility, as well as reviewing and maintaining all par levels for storeroom safety stock as well as all other stocking locations. The Distribution Attendant is also responsible for conducting physical inventories of all Point of Use (POU) areas according to the defined schedule delivers and collects all Materials Management products to and from the hospital. Ensures adequate supply levels in all areas.

Required

• High School graduate or G.E.D equivalent
• Successful completion of all orientation programs

Preferred

• Minimum 2-3 years healthcare experience preferred.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
