Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita, KS is seeking a Material Handler to support receiving, stocking, kitting, and movement of materials for production. You will operate equipment, verify part numbers, and maintain inventory accuracy while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, packaging, labeling, and using systems to record transactions. This is a union-represented role with competitive pay and benefits under the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to work any shift.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Experience in shipping/receiving and inventory management preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with SAP and Hazmat is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks involved in receiving, locating, issuing, kitting, preparation and movement of materials.
• Operate power or hand tools, inspect hardware for damage and route non-conforming items for disposition.
• Operate information systems to perform tasks and maintain records.
• Load and unload air cargo and ensure proper handling of materials.
• Verify part numbers and counts; communicate with management and other teams.
• Train others as required.
