Job summary

IAC International Automotive India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Supply Chain (Materials) Supervisor for 2nd shift to oversee materials operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

The role requires strong leadership and the ability to enforce safety standards in a fast-paced environment. The supervisor will manage forklift operators, clerks, and truck traffic, coordinating with manufacturing to maintain on-time material delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree preferred or 3–5 years related experience in materials management.
• Experience supervising forklift operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities with team development focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily materials operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Supervise forklift operators and clerks; direct truck traffic for safe, efficient material flow.
• Schedule raw materials to meet production needs and coordinate with Manufacturing Operations.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers on delivery schedules and material issues.
• Mentor team members on new programs and safety standards; provide after-hours support as needed.
