Job summary

Safran companies is looking for a candidate to join their Logistics Department, managing tasks such as receiving, stocking, and shipping parts. This position emphasizes teamwork and continuous improvement in logistics operations.

The ideal applicant should possess basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and have an understanding of logistics processes. Forklift experience is beneficial but not required. You will be involved in various logistics activities and must have good organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires little to no experience in discipline.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Works in receiving and performs necessary tasks to receive parts.
• Stocks parts in appropriate locations after applying identification labels.
• Kits parts from stockroom locations for a variety of orders.
• Operates FEDEX/UPS systems for shipping.
• Accurately counts parts when assigned to cycle count team.

Skills

Forklift and pallet jacks experience

Ability to operate PC with Microsoft Office

Strong oral and written communication skills

Basic Math skills

Ability to utilize barcode scanning equipment

Tools

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
