Job summary

Responsibilities include counting and verifying received materials, stocking inventories, delivering supplies to departments, and ensuring accuracy with packing lists, while upholding hospital policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Counts, compares, and documents differences between total number of items received and total number of items on the shipping bill.
• Matches packing lists with purchase orders and verifies that materials received match materials ordered.
• Checks and reports receipt of damaged materials.
• Stocks and maintains back-up inventories in materials holding area, filling and distributing orders as requested.
• Makes scheduled deliveries of equipment and supplies to appropriate departments.
• Adheres to Memorial Hermann policies, procedures and standards within budgetary specifications.
• Promotes growth and development through education and mentoring of staff.
• Models Memorial Hermann service standards by providing safe, caring, personalized and efficient experiences to patients and colleagues.
